Welcome to the Thornbury Acupuncture Studio. We are a community focused alternative health clinic, founded by Chinese Medicine practitioner Jeremy Rowney. The studio is a haven where independent practitioners can grow their own business while taking care of the health and wellbeing of our local people.

Currently we have three warm and generous practitioners working under the one roof. Practitioners operate on their own schedule, so please contact them personally if you’d like to book an appointment. Read about our practitioners and find links to their websites below.

Lauren Gannon

Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine

Lauren Gannon is a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner with a keen interest in disease prevention. Lauren’s primary motivation as a practitioner is helping others achieve their optimum level of health and well-being, using holistic approaches that are balanced and sustainable. Lauren believes that many of the health problems we see today can be attributed to living in a stressful and toxic environment. Chinese medicine works by finding the imbalance in the body and treating the underlying cause. A deeper understanding of the connection between the mind and the body can help to align what is out of balance and achieve harmony and positive well-being. Lauren’s areas of interest include gynaecology, fertility, pain management, pregnancy and general health. Through a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping/Gua Sha, dietary and lifestyle advice, Lauren aims to provide an integrated approach to achieving positive health outcomes.
